One Step at a Time! Jesus tells us to live one day at a time. Live today her without worrying about tomorrow. Years ago, the Communist had overtaken China. Missionary Isobel Kuhn and young son, Danny escaped China and found themselves in Upper Burma which was half a world’s away from their home. When they arrived in Burma, they had no money and unable to speak Burmese. Years later she reflected about that great challenge.  She said, “I cannot tell you the dismay and alarm that filled me. How did I survive? I survived by making two decisions. 1. I cast out fear. I remembered how Christ told His disciples not to be afraid. I spread my heart before the Lord and said, “I refuse to be afraid and asked Him to cast such fears out of my heart.”2. I then sought light for the next step. I had no idea how to get out of that country and get home but with God’s help we eventually made it back home. I guess you could say that it was “One Step at a Time!”

Whatever you are going through, cast out fear and walk by faith one step at a time. It worked for Isobel and Danny and it will work for you.

Next Sunday, we will have a GROW Table. If you want to send cards to prospects or send a prayer gram  or visit someone through phone or email  then visit the GROW Table. G.R.O.W. means “God Rewards Our Work.”
