To Reopen Public Services for Country Fellowship Church

Country Fellowship Church is a “New Church Status” that has partnered with the Dallas County Cowboy Church; Country Fellowship @ Highlands in Dallas; Baptist General Convention of Texas (Texas Baptist); Creath Brazos Baptist Association.

This document has been done in consultation with our partners plus the Event Coordinator of the Holiday Inn. We appreciate their support.

The Following is a plan that we have agreed on in reopening:

Meeting Place:

We will continue to meet at the Event Center at the Holiday Inn off University in Bryan. (Holiday Inn Express @ 3041 Plaza Centre Court, Bryan, Texas 77802)

We will continue to live stream our worship services on our Facebook Page.

Reopen Date:

Sunday, May 10th Bible Study @ 9:00 a.m. and Worship 10:00 p.m. No Evening Service throughout the summer. (This will be relooked at having an Evening Service in late August.) If you do not feel like you are not ready to attend a public service, then watch us on the Country Fellowship Facebook Page. The guidelines from Governor Abbott want people 65+ to be careful. He even suggests attending a Senior Service 65+ Worship Service. That practically takes in most of our attenders.

Sanitize Precautions:

  • Mask provided by the Church or bring your own. We have customized reusable mask. The Mask can be taken home and washed so you can wear them each Sunday.
  • Sanitizing Station Provided
  • No use of Hymnals. Songs only done through Power Point
  • Chairs 6 ft. apart and no tables
  • We will not serve Donuts or other treats. We will though provide bottles of water. You can bring your own coffee or beverage.
  • Sanitized Rooms will be done by the Hotel.
  • No Handshakes, Fist Bumps or Hugs. Just do the Holy Wave.

Other Health Conditions:

  1. If public health circumstances for some reason worsen between now and May 10, we might have to extend the reopening to a later date.
  2. If anyone has a persistent cough or a fever please do not come until those symptoms have subsided. We do not want to put someone at potential risk.
  3. Since most of our congregation is 65+ we must be extra careful. Therefore, having multiple services during the week would add an extra risk to our congregation. We only offer a Public Service on Sunday Morning. Ross Hooks will continue to do his Bible Study online on Wednesdays @ 6:00 p.m. (Since he has his Bible Study on his Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/rossm.hookslll) If you can’t watch it on Wed. then you can watch the Bible Study throughout the week).

Information Meetings:

Country Fellowship Church will continue to have a monthly information meeting to go over the Financial Report and approval of Business Items. This will be at the close of the service on the Last Sunday of each Month.

I am praying for you daily! I know that God has great days ahead of us.

Trusting God Through These Trying Day!
