God told David, “Your times are in My Hands!” Psalm 31:15
The times for David’s life and our own lives are in the Hands of God. Yet we worry and stress out because of the events of our times. When we do this, then it is “Forgetting-God.” When this is done then we try to replace something or someone else in our lives instead of God. With bank failures and conflict in the world that surround us we must remember and remind ourselves constantly that God Rules. The better way is not “God Forgetting” but instead of what Paul Tripp reminds us to do is “God Remembering.” Rest, peace, and trust does not come from our control. Rest and, peace and trust come out of God’s Control.
This Friday @ 9:00 a.m. we will study about the Resurrection of Christ. Is it Fact or Fiction? Paul said that if there was “No Resurrection” then we would people who are most miserable. There are many people who deny the existence of Christ because they don’t believe that He was Resurrected. Christ was Resurrected and HE lives in our hearts. Let start looking at the Evidence and also the Power of the Resurrection in our lives. The Apostle Paul put it this way, “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,” Philippians 3:10. Paul was saying “I want to know Christ & His Resurrection.” I want to know Christ, Mind to Mind and Spirit to Spirit. “The Door of the Tomb of Christ was not Open to just let Christ out but to allow us to come in and say and proclaim. “Jesus Christ Is Risen Indeed!”
Blessings!
