Pastor Charles Comment:
Ron Rich has become a good friend of mine. Ron is a retired Baptist Pastor who moved here two years ago from Arizona. The past few months he has been dealing with health issues. Despite the Health Issues he continues to send a weekly encouraging words to Pastors. I wanted to share what he sent this week. I think you will like it.
The Great Gardner is always at work! “You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.” Psalm 65:11 If you have ever tried your hand at farming or even attempted a home garden you have some understanding of the importance of the soil and the growth of the Flora and Fauna of the area where you are trying to plant. Look at the descriptive terms in this verse for a better view of the work of the Great Gardner—bountiful, hard pathways, wilderness, lush pasture, hillsides blossom to name a few. But make note of the view as “They all shout and sing for joy.” How long has it been since you thanked the Lord for His continual work on the dirt of your life?
