God what is taking you so long?
We look at our country the circumstances and incidents that are taking place and we cry out to the Lord! (and we should do that) Sometimes under our breath we say to ourselves, “God what is taking you so long to straighten out this situation.”
Think about that statement and then read John 11:5-6, “Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days,…”
This family who were close friends to Jesus was in a desperate situation. Lazarus was at the point of death. Martha sent out her plea and call to Jesus for guidance and help, but the call seemed to be ignored and death came and made a house call to Lazarus. With all hope gone, what else was there to do but mourn.
The Question of the Passage is this: :Why didn’t Jesus hurry Martha’s home to heal Lazarus? Why did he go in a different direction and make other stops before he arrived at Martha’s home? The answer is, “Jesus had a greater miracle.” Think about this: Which was greater for Mary & Martha? The healing of their Brother or the raising of him from the dead?
Don’t be discouraged when things don’t go the way you think they should go. Don’t stop praying and believing. Don’t think that God is not going to remember us or help us in the shattered and fractured society that surrounds us. HE has HIS Way of dealing with all of this. God always has been concerned about the “Timing” and not the “Time.”
Keep on Trusting! Keep On Praying! Keep on Serving! Jesus will come through in His Way! Ok? Love You – Country Fellowship Family! I am so honored to be your Pastor. Charles

“Everybody can be great … because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
