What do you get when you get Abundant Life? Rest; Safety; Provision; Eternal Home. That is what we will talk about today. What do you  get when you get Eternal Life.

The Point System…

Clinching the Nail…. They do this to make the joint just a little bit tighter so the nail can’t work itself out. It is a technique that calls for two nails. Jesus is hitting the nail on the head with that statement. “no one is able to take you out of the Father’s Hand. You are in the securest position. Look whose hand you are in.

Jesus knew that people would object to His hold on believers. He anticipated that. That is why we have this great affirmation.

They shall never perish. What if you sin and keep on sinning? Philippians 2:12, 13 it is God. Salvation is not performance. We do not get your salvation by working for it. It is a gift. You don’t keep your Salvation by your works. Salvation is based on the Finished work of Christ. You That is where God will step in and take you to the woodshed and discipline you with Grace. Adoption… You can never be disinherited. No matter what I did, or you did grow up you were still your parents’ child. They did not disown you. It is an insult that we can slander The Father and Christ the Son that He would rake away our salvation and security.

My folks loved me, and they would keep on loving me no matter what I did or did not do. Do not lessen the Grace of God. I have visited with people who were saved as a young child. In their teens or 20’s or 30’s left God but they would testify that God did not leave them.

No stronger passage in all the Word of God can be found guaranteeing the absolute security of
every child of God.

You Are in The Hands of the Father

Let’s go back to Genesis 2:7 that talks about the Creative Hand of God. God the Father knows us. Psalm 103:14 “For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”

He also made us for a Purpose. Purpose Book: We are here for God’s Pleasure; We are Formed for God’s Family; We are created to become like Christ; We were shaped for serving God; We are made for a Mission.

A life devoted to thing is a dead life, a stump; a God shaped; life is a flourishing tree.” Proverbs 11:28; “Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” Bertrand Russell- Atheist.

It all starts with God. “For everything, absolutely everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him.” Col. 1:16  Its not all about you its all about God.

You Are in The Hands of Love – The Love of God

God hands  created us but also with those hands he loves us .

Th Story of Hosea and Gomer. He pursues us with Love.  Symbol of His Love for Israel. (Hosea 11:1, 3-4, 8)  This is Proof of MY Love for you.  He is a patient Father.

Can we fall from such hands? It is impossible. Can any man or thing snatch us  from them?

You Are in The Hands of Jesus Christ the Son of God. John 14:1-3;

We  don’t have to worry about the home he is building for us. I don’t have to worry about the condition of that home. We  don’t have to be concerned about the condition of our resurrected bodies. 2. Cor. 5:1

The Welcoming & Blessed Outstretched Hands of Jesus. They are outstretched hand reaching out us and to all. Jesus outstretched hands to a leper; Peter’s mother-in-law; a young daughter of a ruler; the son of the widow of Nain; outstretched hands restore sight to a blind man. Outstretched hands to Peter who was sinking on the water. Outstretched when Peter said, “Lord Save me.” Outstretched

Blessed Hands (Hands that wanted to Bless People)

The children who the disciple were trying to keep the children from coming to Him. He rebuked them and said, “Let the Children come unto me for such is the Kingdom of God.” (Mt. 19:13-15)

The Blessing of His Outstretched Hands to the Disciples at His Ascension. Luke 24:50-51

The Wounded Hands of Jesus. All the above description comes to the most critical description of Jesus. The Wounded Hands of Jesus.

Psa. 22:16 “…pierced my hands and my feet.” Prophesied in Isa. 53:5 that would be a sign of the Messiah, would be recognized – Zech. 13:6

Thomas looked at the Hands of Christ immediately said,” Jesus, My Lord & My God.” Jn 20:28

Now this morning we are asked again to look at His Hands. In this passage He tells us that you are as a believer  in His Hands.

Hand of the Father- The Hand of His Some Jesus Christ- Sealed by the Blood of Christ. Eph.4:30. Seal until the Day of Your Redemption. God locks in our faith…Validating His Ownership because it was bought with a price.

The Blessed Benediction of the Security of Our Salvation, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,” Jude 24

The Hand that was outstretched Hand for you…The Hand that was wounded and pierced and still has the nail prints in His Hands. Fanny Crosby…I shall know Him by the Print of the Nails in His Hand.

Allow Christ to place your hand and your heart and your life in His Hands.
