If you really love Jesus, then Help…anyone can Honk!
A man’s car stalled in the heavy traffic as the light turned green, all his efforts to start the engine failed, and a chorus of honking behind him made matters worse. He finally got out of his car, walked back to the first driver, and said, “I’m sorry, but I can’t seem to get my car started. If you’ll go up there and give it a try, I’ll stay here and honk your horn for you.”
As a church, we don’t need to be a bunch of honkers, instead we need to be a bunch of helpers. There are a number of people in College Station & Bryan who have broken lives and broken homes. They are looking for direction, love, and hope. Invite them to our Rescue Mission, Country Fellowship Church.
Is Jesus Really the Son of God? The Answer is Yes. Jesus in the Son of God. We are studying about Christianity and what we believe and why we believe it. We are studying about Jesus and the evidence that He is God. As one old country preacher put it: “Jesus is God all by himself and that He was here before there was a “When?” of a “Where?” Every Friday @ Aldersgate Methodist Fellowship Hall @ 9:30 a.m. (Online or On-site)

Just a word about our services at Watercrest. Cindy, Donna, and I have a wonderful time in leading the worship service each Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Recently, we had new attendees. We had 21 this past Thursday. One of our new attendees is Lenelle. She has a beautiful voice. This Thursday she will sing the Lord’s Prayer. Lenelle also is visually impaired. She is an amazing lady and I hope that someday she can visit our church and sing a solo. Please keep this ministry in your prayers. The bunch there is just so special to me and others. I am so thankful to go there every Thursday.
Sunday School now is twice as nice. We have the Bible Study taught by Jean Godwin. They have been studying the Book of Luke. We now have a Men’s Bible Study Class also taught by L.D. White. Sunday School starts every Sunday at 8:45 a.m.
