Pastor Charles says, “Tell Them!  & Tell Them Again & Again!”

Charles Spurgeon said, “Evangelism is one beggar telling another beggar where to get bread.”

D.A. Carson said, “We are never more than poor beggars telling other poor beggars where there is bread.”

In 1978, doctors diagnosed cancer in the lungs of Richard Bloch, (founder of H& R Bloch).  They told him that it was fatal.  He fought the disease for two years and survived.  Just two years later, he pulled through colon cancer.  While sick, he promised to help cancer patients, a pledge that he kept to the end of his life.  Mr. Bloch started a free cancer hot line in 1980 that helped cancer patients find treatment.  He began the R.A. Bloch Cancer Foundation, which manages the hotline, and established a National Cancer Survivor Day, which is held on the first Sunday of June to increase awareness about the disease.  In 1990, Mr. Bloch dedicated a park to cancer survivors in Kansas City.  Since then, about 20 parks have been dedicated to survivors.  He died in 2004 but his legacy still lives.

As believers we should do everything, we can get the gospel out to those who are lost spiritually.  We should be on a Rescue Mission to reach the lost and unsaved around us.  The Hymn, “Rescue the Pershing care for the dying” preaches that to us.

People need Jesus!  Christmas is the time we Celebrate His coming to earth.  The best way to share Jesus is to share your faith in Jesus with others.  Get involved with Outreach Events on the 15th (Hamburger Outreach) and Monday the 18th of December (Loads of Love @ P.J.’s Laundromat from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.)

Tell People About Jesus!  Tell Them and then Tell Them again and again.
