Living with Confidence this Christmas & Beyond!
“You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm 16:11
The Psalmist was totally Confident in God. Joseph and Mary were totally confident in the plan that God had for them. They believed, then followed and carried out that plan. What a confident couple and example.
Many times, we assume the very worst. The Psalmist and Joseph and Mary assumed the best.
The Believer that is Confident is…whatever tomorrow brings, Christ has already been there…and He’s already won and He’s never been defeated.
In this Christmas season we will be around family, friends and new acquaintances. Let’s live, walk and talk with our confidence in God.
Confidence is the way to live. In fact, it is the only way to really live. If Christ holds tomorrow…it’s a good tomorrow no matter what will happen.
I love the words of an old hymn, “I don’t know about tomorrow, but I know He holds my hand.” That is more than enough for me.
Sunday morning, we will have a 9:00 a.m. Bible Study. Terry Williams will continue to teach from the Book of Revelation. At 10:00 a.m. we will have our Morning Worship. We will have our final Advent Devotion and some great music. I will be preaching about the Virgin Birth of Christ and how all that relates to us. The title of our sermon is , Have a Him-Possible Christmas!
We will not have an evening service this Sunday.
Thanks, Mary Lou for the great Christmas Fellowship that we all enjoyed last Sunday Evening. You would not believe the gift that I took home with me. I always wanted a (Rubber Chicken wearing a Bikini)
With a Bible in your hand a smile on your face I will see you this Sunday as we gather together to Worship the Christ of Christmas with Confidence!
Your Pastor, who believes that We Have Confidence That God Is Going To See Us Through! Charles
